ALSO – What We Do

WHAT WE DO

Advocate. Educate. Innovate.

Established with the aim of promoting and supporting local business, ALSO plays a vital role in the liquor retail industry. By bringing together a diverse group of store owners, ALSO provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective decision making, all in the best interest of its members. ALSO members adhere to state regulations and are dedicated to promoting responsible alcohol consumption.

The 2022 ALSO Membership of 147 stores represented $495 million, or over 60% of the liquor sales in Oregon.

KEEP IT LOCAL – SUPPORTING OREGON BUSINESSES & COMMUNITIES

Here in Oregon, we’re proud of our locally owned beer, wine, cider and spirits. It’s a tradition that contributes not only to our local economies, but also our communities: a portion of every liquor sale in Oregon provides key funding for our students, healthcare, public safety, and other services we all depend on. Our regulated system keeps costs fair for consumers, and benefits the distillers, local businesses and communities that make Oregon whole.
